DELIVERY
Where is Urban Eclectic Jewelry made?
All pieces are made by me and my production assistant, Mariel, in my studio in San Jose, Costa Rica.
What shipping methods do you offer?
- Standard mailing for all domestic and international packages is done through the Costa Rica post office. Arrival time is approximately 14-21 business days from the date of mailing.
- Express shipping is available through DHL. Arrival time is approximately 7 days from the date of sending.
Where do you ship?
I ship worldwide.
How long does it take to ship my order?
Once I receive your order I will contact you with an estimated ship date based on what pieces are in your order and their production time. Most orders are shipped within 7-10 business days from the date the order was received. Please take this timeline into consideration if you are ordering for a specific event (birthday, holiday, etc.).
During the Christmas holidays, if you are placing your order after October 15, please contact me to ensure it will delivery on-time.
All government offices in Costa Rica are closed for one week each year, the week before Easter for Semana Santa. If you are placing an order in that time period, I will be shipping your order the Monday after Easter when the post office is re-opened. Thank you for understanding

Can I order a custom piece?
Absolutely! If you have an idea you'd like to execute or want to chat about what we can design just for you, get in touch!
Can I order in other metals than listed?
In most cases, yes. Feel free to reach out to me with your ideas and let's see what we can create for you.
MATERIALS
What metals are your pieces made with?
The metals used in the production of all of my pieces are copper, brass and stainless steel. This includes pendants, ear hooks and chains. I also occasionally use leather, stones, quartz and other embellishments.
CARE
How do I care for my jewelry?
Metal naturally tarnishes over time due to body oils and exposure to the elements. To keep your jewelry shiny and like new a jewelry polishing cloth is very helpful. Also for a thorough clean, mix baking powder and water to create a paste and gently scrub your jewelry with a soft brush or cloth.
Do you offer polishing services?
When you first purchase your piece it will be bright and shiny new. This is the result of being placed into a jewelry tumbler as part of the final polishing. Over time the metal on your piece will slowly oxidize. Some people prefer the darker look of aged metals, but if you'd prefer it to be polished in the tumbler I offer this service for $10. You can mail me your piece(s) at your cost and I will tumble them and send them back to you at my cost. This service is available 1x per calendar year.
WARRANTY & EXCHANGES
Can I exchange my item?
If for some reason the item(s) you purchased don’t work out, I accept exchanges within 7 days of receipt.
- Exchanged items must be in pristine, unworn condition, and include all original packaging and tags. Please contact me for the return mailing address.
- Items may be exchanged for store credit. Refunds are not offered.
- Buyer is responsible for all shipping related costs on exchanged orders (return of original item(s) and shipping of replacement item(s).)
- It is recommended that the item be sent back in a trackable manner (Priority Mail or the like). If the item is mailed in a non-trackable manner, Buyer assumes the responsibility for any lost or damaged items.
- On custom orders, please be very sure of any sizes you provide me. If I create a custom piece for you and the size you provided is not accurate there are additional charges for work for any alterations.
Do you guarantee your pieces?
GUARANTEE
I guarantee all of my jewelry when used with care in the way intended. Please see above care section for how to clean and care for your jewelry.
In the rare instance that something unfortunate happens to your jewelry (a clasp breaks, a charm falls off, there is discoloration, etc.), I want to hear about it. In most cases I will either repair or replace your piece free of charge. Please get in touch with me via the contact link.
Include photos of the broken or damaged piece. If a repair is possible, returned items will be exchanged or repaired, depending on the nature of the piece and issue experienced.
Will I get a full refund?
I offer exchanges only. I do not offer refunds of any kind.
